At Hacker Drinkup today, Chris Lai brought an Eggbot. It’s a robot/plotter that basically can draw on curved surfaces. I know who I’m going Easter Egg hunting with next year! He had ping pong balls with him today, so I drew a pizzabagel in Illustrator and saved it as an svg. It got imported into Inkscape and was printed out on the Eggbot. It was incredibly surreal watching a robot draw in my style. Someday we will all be replaced by robots.
