We’ve been playing a lot of board games lately, and a common one that gets pulled out at parties is King of Tokyo. We decided to play the game using cupcakes as game pieces- if you ate your piece you got an extra turn. You had 60 seconds. This is easy until it’s realized that the pieces are made of fondant, which is dry, chewy, and not that tasty.
These cupcakes took about 5 hours to build and are completely edible. They’re lemon blueberry on the inside and buttercream on the outside. The ones without game pieces had lemon curd filling. I used this recipe: http://theregoesthecupcake.com/2011/05/16/lemon-blueberry-cupcakes/
